As I mentioned, Small recently turned one. He was on the receiving end of some delightful presents, including the books pictured here from his France based grandparents. They are lovely books, and I like Small having the opportunity to experience French.
However, for me this means: Homework!
There are just things that the GCSE French curriculum just does not prepare you for. In particular, I am missing some key adjectives ideal for describing parts of animals and some nouns to identify those parts. A quick few minutes with a French dictionary (or Google translate…) will sort me out for the That’s Not My/Where is My book, but the other is more of a story and will be a bigger challenge for me!
